Pickleball Tournament in Colorado Springs
The Pikes Peak Pickleball Club (PPPC) invites pickleball players of all ages and skill level to a tournament on September 9 – 11, 2017 at Monument Valley Park. Events include singles, doubles, and mixed doubles.
“I adore this sport!” Lorraine said. “I thrive on trying to improve my skill level and the joy it is to make so many wonderful new friends.”
Pickleball, one of the fastest growing sports in the country, is played on a badminton-sized court (indoor or outdoor) with the net lowered to 34 inches at the center. Play requires a perforated plastic ball similar to a whiffle ball and a flat-surfaced wood or composite paddle about twice the size of a ping-pong paddle.
